PDMS

About Course

[Piping, Plant & Structural Platforms]

PDMS [Plant Design Mgt. System] is a Plant CAD engineering software program that enables you to design a 3D computer model of a process plant. It will allow you to see a full color shaded representation of the plant model as your design progresses, adding an extremely impressive level of realism to your model.

It is a comprehensive, intelligent computer-aided design/engineering (CAD/CAE) application for plant design, construction and operations. Production-driven, it is widely used in Power, Oil & Gas Production & Processing (Offshore & Onshore), Petroleum Refining, Petroleum Storage & Transportation, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Sugar, Paper and Chemical industries for the best possible design and do it more efficiently to reduce the total installed cost of the project. Due to its capability and commitment to the industry, many leading engineering firms and owner / operations have selected PDMS as their corporate standard.

PDMS enables teams of designers from a range of different disciplines to work concurrently and develop a complete digital model of a process or power plant. Each discipline works within its own specialist 3D environment but is still able to view all of the design work taking place around them.
