About the Course
Thousands of serious project managers use Primavera Project Planner every day. It gives them the control they need to accomplish their projects on time, within budget, and at a high level of technical quality. It is expected that at the end of this programme, the student will know and be able to create and track an entire project to completion, using the three basic elements of project management: schedule, resource and costs.
You can create project plans, schedule resources with advanced levelling options and interact with project data through PERT charts, bar charts and time scale logic diagrams.
P6 is a comprehensive enterprise project portfolio management software with multi project planning and control capabilities, built on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server relational databases for enterprise-wide project management scalability. This Project Management module can stand alone for project and resource management, or it can be used in conjunction with other products, including project management scheduling, risk analysis, opportunity management, resource management, collaboration and control capabilities, timesheets module, methodology management module, Primavera’s web application and integrates with other enterprise software such as Oracle and SAP’s ERP systems.
P6 enables your organization to store and manage its projects in a central location. The module supports work breakdown structures (WBS), organizational breakdown structures (OBS), user-defined fields and codes, Critical-path-method (CPM) scheduling and resource levelling.
